Richard Garneau : Dix secondes d'extase

Richard Garneau, sports commentator, has been one of Radio-Canada's most important voice in sports. He has covered 23 Olympics from Rome in 1960 to London in 2012. In February 2014 in Sotchi, the International Olympic Comittee gave him the medal Pierre-de-Coubertain posthumously for his role as an ambassador for the Olympic spirit and movement over the decades. He promised to retire after the Rio Games of 2016, but destiny had other plans for him. He passed away in January 2013 and never saw those games. In this documentary, his son Stéphane will try to understand the man and the absent father behind the commentator. Through people he meets, interviews and archive photos, his son discovers his father's passion. Anyone doubting this can listen to the way he described any final race. Something magical was happening during these moments. Ten seconds of pure bliss...
