Le combattant: Patrick Côté

The Quebecer Patrick Côté is one of the biggest MMA (Mixed martial arts) champions. His explosive career in the UFC with a record of 34 fights and 23 victories is worthy of a Hollywood movie. From a very young age, he had to learn how to fight. At 10 years old, he becomes "the head of the household" after his mother gets into a terrible accident and becomes paralyzed for a few years. Former military man, this veteran has experienced the worse and the best throughout his career. He has had spectacular victories, crushing defeats and has suffered hundreds of injuries costing him his place in the UFC for two years. Despite some darker years, he never gave up and came back in the ring stronger than ever. A model of courage, perseverance and... most of all resilience. In 2017, the man who was the first Quebecer to fight in an official main card UFC fight, takes everyone by surprise at the end of the fight by announcing his retirement on live television in front of millions of viewers. Through this biographical documentary, the man known as "Pat Côté- The predator" opens the door to his career, his intimacy and his family like he's never done before.
